綺麗なギターの旋律(アルペジオ)とメロディパートのギターが絡まりながら、曲の展開に合わせて様々に表情を変えていきます。
生楽器にしか出せないニュアンス暖かさを大事に、サラッと聴けて、聴いた後に少し気持ちが軽くなるようなトラックを目指しました。

サウンドの特徴と実績
UKルーツのメロウで透明感のあるギターとチル × スローライフのコンセプトを掛け合わせたサウンドが特徴です。
上記サウンドを軸に、個人名義である Chiai Nagano（チアイナガノ）とコンセプト名義である Chiais（チアイズ）として制作した楽曲・トラックを販売しています。
Our sound is characterised by a blend of mellow, crystalline guitar tones with UK roots and a ‘chill × slow life’ concept. Centred around this sound, we sell songs and tracks produced under my solo name, Chiai Nagano, and under the conceptual name Chiais.
主な実績として、Spotify公式チルプレイリスト「Lonely Girl」への計3回の選曲（2024年12月／2024年4月／2023年6月・個人名義）、コクヨ株式会社運営の渋谷コワーキングスペース「Creative Lounge MOV」へのBGM提供（2022年）、SUBARUドライビングアプリ内コンテンツでの楽曲採用（2023年・共同制作）等があり、同共同制作曲は北海道放送「今日ドキッ！」（2023年放送）やテレビ朝日系列の全国ネット番組（2026年放送）でも利用されました。海外レーベルTsunami Soundsからのリリース（アメリカ・2024年・個人名義）も行い、国内外を問わず案件に応じて活動の幅を広げています。
Key achievements include three placements on Spotify's official chill playlist "Lonely Girl" (2023–2024, under personal name), BGM for Kokuyo's Shibuya coworking space "Creative Lounge MOV" (2022), and a track featured in SUBARU's driving app (2023, co-production). That co-produced track has also aired on Hokkaido Broadcasting and TV Asahi's national network. Released internationally via US label Tsunami Sounds (2024, under personal name), the artist continues to expand across both domestic and international projects.
From solo activities to BGM shops
Creating a chill sound
元々は10代後半にUKの音楽シーンに衝撃を受け、CD収集を通じて自分の好きなサウンドを探究していました。その後友人の勧めでギターを弾き始め、そのまま足掛け10数年。幾つかのバンドでギタリストとして活動してましたが、数年程アプローチしていた自分の芯にあるパーソナルなチルサウンドを形にしたい気持ちが高まり、2016年からソロ活動を開始しました。
In my late teens, I was blown away by the UK music scene and started exploring my own sound through CD collecting. A friend's encouragement led me to pick up the guitar, and I kept at it for over a decade — playing as a guitarist in several bands along the way. But I'd been working toward something more personal for years, a chill sound that felt truly my own, and in 2016 I finally took the leap into solo work.
Choosing a Career in DTM and Music Production
Starting a sole proprietorship
ギターアルペジオを基調としたインスト楽曲をリリースしながら必要な機材を選定し、2019年にLogic ProのDTM環境を構築。制作の幅を広げていきます。そんな中、並行して面倒を見ていた伯母2人の介護負担がコロナ禍で増し、2021年に勤務先を退職。通勤ではなく、自宅でできる仕事の1つとして楽曲制作業を選択しました。
While releasing guitar arpeggio-based instrumentals and building my skills, I set up a home Logic Pro studio in 2019, expanding my production range. In the midst of all this, caring for two aunts became increasingly demanding during COVID, and in 2021 I left my job — starting music production as a business I could run from home.
Cherishing the essence of my own musical experience
Aiming to improve as a composer
作曲力向上のため、原点であるリスニング起点のサウンド探究を見つめ直す必要を感じ、2022年からSpotifyプレイリストの選曲・公開を開始。同時代の楽曲を体感しながら、友人・知人クリエイターやアーティストから良い影響を受けたトラックを紹介していきました。一方で独学の限界を感じ、プロのメンターからサウンド構築と音楽理論を継続的にコーチしていただきながら制作を続けていきます。
To sharpen my skills, I went back to my roots — exploring sound through listening. In 2022, I started curating Spotify playlists, immersing myself in contemporary music and sharing tracks from fellow creators that inspired me. At the same time, I hit the limits of self-teaching and began working with a professional mentor for ongoing coaching in music theory and sound construction.
From sole trader to LLC
Chiais Creation LLC established
レーベルやアルバムリリース企画へのコンペ参加、声を掛けていただいた個人の方や企業案件を通して作曲力を磨いていく中、取引先から法人の方が取引がしやすいとの声を受け、2024年に法人化。その後は企業向け展示会の参加も行い、サウンドの周知にも力を入れていきます。
Through participating in label and album release competitions, and working on projects with clients and companies who reached out, I continued sharpening my compositional skills. Following feedback that working with a company would make things easier, I incorporated in 2024. Since then, I've also been actively participating in business expos to expand awareness of my sound.
The 10-year milestone

振り返ると、音楽が主役になることもありますが、私自身はずっと人や空間、映像が自然に輝くための「雰囲気づくり」に惹かれてきたように思います。お客様とのやり取りから、いきなりオーダーメイドではなく、既存BGMやプレイリストで曲の空気感を掴んでいただける入り口が必要だと感じ、半年ほど掛けてサイトを作成。好きで得意なその雰囲気づくりを軸にしたBGMを、2026年からオンラインの自店舗にて販売しています。
Looking back, while music can take center stage, what's always drawn me in is "atmosphere-making" — helping people, spaces, and visuals shine naturally. That led me to build a site where people can ease into the mood through existing BGM and playlists, rather than starting with a custom order. From 2026, I've been selling background music built around that same atmosphere-making, through my own online shop.
