クリエイターEXPO 2026 出展のお知らせ
2026年6月17日（水）〜19日（金）、東京ビッグサイト（西展示棟）で開催されるクリエイターEXPO 2026に出展します。昨年夏に続き3回目の出展です。
チアイナガノ（Chiai Nagano）とチアイズ（Chiais）、2名義の楽曲をブースで試聴いただけます。既存トラックのライセンス提供からオーダーメイド制作まで、直接ご相談ください。
最近はライブ活動をしていないので、実際に会ってお話しできる機会でもあります。映像・空間のオーダーメイドBGMをお探しの方はぜひ直接ブースへお越しください。

さて、今月のプレイリストの話を。
6月のMonthly Chill Songs Pickup!! 更新しました
先週はアメリカ人の友人カップルが仕事と観光で横浜（桜木町）に来ていたので、時間を合わせて付近をアテンドをしてきました。個性的な服屋を案内したり、開放感のある美味しい店でランチしたり、無駄に移動にシーバスを使ったりして変化を盛り込んでみたのですがまぁまぁ好評だったので、楽しんでくれて良かったな〜という感じでした。

近況を話しながらまったり移動。この辺りは道幅が広くて歩きやすいのが良きです👌
友人はレーベルオーナーでもあるので、ランチをしながらお互いの近況報告をしたりしてたのですが、店内BGMが良さげなチルホップ（チル系のヒップホップ）だったんですよね。
で、自分は当然話が半分上の空になりいつものようにスマホでShazam（曲認識アプリ）を用意…
すると友人カップルもスマホを取り出してShazamを用意...!?
…なんと3人一緒にShazamを開始して爆笑でした。
好きなものが一緒だとこういうタイミングが嬉しいですね笑

みんなでリラックス〜。お店の選曲センスが良すぎると話題に笑 
その曲を！…と言いたいところなんですが、多分その次に掛かってたトラックを今月は1曲目に持ってきてます笑
トラックはNomakという日本人トラックメイカーとPete Phillyというオランダ人ラッパーのコラボ曲で、両者ともジャズ・ソウルへの造詣が深いらしく、今月のプレイリストも自然とその流れを組んだ構成となってます。
ざっくり #Jazzy & #Soul のチルビートから終盤の #Folk という流れですね。
そういえばNomak、名前に聞き覚えがあるなと思って調べてたら、CD棚にアルバムありました笑
2007年頃、Nujabes系としてタワレコで激プッシュされてて視聴してめっちゃ良かったので買ったやつですね。仕事が激務すぎて記憶が薄いんですが、ちゃんと身体には残ってたんでしょうね、今回自然と選んでたわけだし。
今月のおすすめアーティスト：フカミドリ
私はもともと10代からのヘビーリスナーで、音楽を聴くことが今も制作の一番の原動力です。2022年からはキュレーターとしてチル系プレイリストの公開も行っており、そんな音楽好きの視点から毎月プレイリストに入れたアーティストの中から一人紹介していきます。
今月ピックアップするのは、現在は作曲家として活動されているイケグチリョウさんの前身ユニット「フカミドリ」です。
楽曲は元々知っていたわけではなく、池口さんのNoteを見てDigってみたんですが、DTMがない時代の宅録...、全楽器演奏...、作詞作曲歌担当…って凄すぎますね。
ハードディスクレコーダー（Roland VS-880）で重ね録りしながら作った音源が、25年以上経った今も聴かれ続けているというのがまた良くて。
今回はその フカミドリ の2ndアルバム Peanuts on the run から「過ぎた話」を (18) に使わせてもらいました。
ジャンルはフォークで、後半(17-20)のゆるめゾーンに自然と溶け込んで良い雰囲気を作ってくれてます。ぜひチェックしてみてください！
ちなみに池口さんのNoteにこんな言葉が引用されてました。
「昔の曲だとしても出会った今がその人にとっての新曲」— 細野晴臣
まさにその感覚でDigれて良かったです。

Exhibiting at Creators EXPO 2026
Chiais Creation Music will be exhibiting at Creators EXPO 2026, taking place at Tokyo Big Sight (West Hall) from June 17–19, 2026. This will be our 3rd time at the show.
Stop by our booth to listen to tracks from both monikers — Chiai Nagano and Chiais — and talk directly about licensing or custom compositions. I don't play live these days, so this is one of the few chances to actually meet in person. If you're looking for custom BGM for video or spatial projects, come find us at the booth!

Last week, some American friends came to Yokohama (Sakuragicho) for work and sightseeing, so I showed them around the area. We checked out some unique clothing shops, had lunch at a great spot with a nice open feel, and even took the Sea Bass ferry for no particular reason — just to mix things up. They seemed to enjoy it, which made me happy. (Not bad for a plan thrown together on the spot!)

A nice easy stroll. The wide streets make it a great area to walk around.
Since my friend is also a label owner, we caught up over lunch — and the BGM at the restaurant was this great chill hop track. Of course, my brain went half off-track and I reached for Shazam as usual...
...only to find them both reaching for their phones at the exact same moment.
All three of us opened Shazam simultaneously — we couldn't stop laughing. Moments like that are the best when you share the same taste in music.

Everyone nice and relaxed — and very vocal about the restaurant's incredible playlist taste lol
That song! ...or so I'd like to say, but it was probably the track that came on right after. Either way, I put it first on this month's list.
It's a collab between Nomak, a Japanese beatmaker, and Pete Philly, a Dutch rapper — both of whom have a deep love for jazz and soul, and that vibe naturally shaped the rest of the playlist too.
Roughly flowing from #Jazzy & #Soul chill beats into #Folk toward the end.
Speaking of Nomak — the name rang a bell, and sure enough, I found one of his albums in my CD shelf. Around 2007, Tower Records was pushing him hard as part of the Nujabes wave, and I picked it up after a listen. Work was so intense back then that the memory faded... but clearly it stayed with me, since I naturally pulled it into the playlist this time.
This Month's Featured Artist: Fukamidori
I've been a heavy listener since my teens, and music is still the biggest driving force behind my own production. Since 2022, I've also been active as a curator, sharing chill playlists — and it's from that music-lover's perspective that I introduce one artist from each month's playlist.
This month's pick is Fukamidori, the predecessor unit of composer Ikeguchi Ryo, who continues to be active in music today.
I had no idea who they were — I found them by digging after reading Ikeguchi-san's Note. Home recording with no DAW, playing every instrument, writing all the lyrics and melodies... honestly incredible. The fact that recordings made on a Roland VS-880 over 25 years ago are still being listened to today says it all.
This month I've included "Sugita Hanashi (過ぎた話)" from Fukamidori's 2nd album Peanuts on the Run at track (18). The genre is folk, and it blends naturally into the relaxed closing stretch of the playlist (tracks 17–20). Definitely worth a listen!
On a side note, I came across this quote in Ikeguchi-san's Note:
"Even if it's an old song, the moment you discover it is when it becomes new to you." — Haruomi Hosono
