『AKARI VOL.Ⅲ』への参加をきっかけにオンラインで始まったつながりが、実際に日本で会うところまでつながった時の記録です。

この日のDamonとの会話は、当時ブログを書き始めるきっかけにもなり、現在の「Owner’s Blog」へとつながっています。

As part of the website move, I’ve reposted a blog article originally published on the former “CHIAI’S WEB” in 2024, about the day I first met Damon from Tsunami Sounds in Shibuya.

It’s a record of how a connection that began online through my participation in AKARI VOL.Ⅲ eventually led to meeting in person in Japan.

My conversation with Damon that day also inspired me to start blogging at the time, and eventually led to what is now the “Owner’s Blog.”

Tsunami Sounds Web Shop🇺🇸にてCD販売開始しました

9月27日にリリースされたチル・コンピレーション『AKARI VOL.Ⅲ』のCDが、Tsunami Sounds Web Shopで販売開始となりました。

参加アーティストはre:plus、Takesy、ddddeeeellllaaa、Chiai Nagano、Komachi & Kohei Yoshii、Ounakの6組。アートワークはトラックメイカーとしても活動するSuzuumeが手がけています。

The CD edition of the chill compilation AKARI VOL.Ⅲ, released on September 27, is now available from the Tsunami Sounds Web Shop. The six featured artists are re:plus, Takesy, ddddeeeellllaaa, Chiai Nagano, Komachi & Kohei Yoshii, and Ounak, with artwork by Suzuume.

Tsunami Sounds🇺🇸主宰のDamon Broussardからお声がけいただき、シリーズ第3弾のコンピレーションアルバムに参加しました。

Chiai Naganoは秋と日本の都市／自然の融合をテーマに、メインストリートから少し離れた路地裏の休憩場所をイメージ。都市の喧騒の中でも自然を感じられるような柔らかいアコースティック・フォーク・ビートにて参加しています。

Chill Compilation “AKARI VOL.Ⅲ” Released & Join

I was invited by Damon Broussard of Tsunami Sounds🇺🇸 to take part in the third installment of the compilation series.

For my contribution, I explored the theme of autumn and the meeting of Japanese cities and nature, imagining a quiet place to pause in a back alley away from the main street. I created a soft acoustic folk beat that brings a sense of nature into the midst of the city.
